A Christmas Wish

This year we will know Santa
Gifts, family, and toys
Thanks to the hard work
Of all you girls and boys.
This Christmas will be joyous
Filled with warmth and cheer
Because in our time of need
A rescuer was near.
We don't know how to tell you
In words you understand
How much you have given us
With the touch of your hand.
So we give you this poem
And a wish for Christmas day
That you all feel the love
You've given along the way
